I am getting some coated TPIS headers and was wondering which gaskets you guys would recommend and any install tips. Also, are the factory bolts good enough to use as well? Thanks a bunch!!

Believe it or not the factory gasket is as good or better than most. Bolts as well.
I used the paper gaskets that came with my FLP headers and I started to have exhaust leaks after about a month, when I removed the headers to replace the heads I found every exhaust port except 1 or 2 were leaking so when I get the heads back on I'm using stock gaskets.
Use the stock gaskets. It is virtually impossible to obtain a leak-free install w/ paper gaskets. The factory bolts will work just fine. However, if you
R & R the manifolds or headers a few times, I would replace the bolts. Repeatedly tightening (especially OVER-tightening) fasteners will fatigue the material and they will work themselves loose. If you have any doubts pick-up some ARP's. Good luck, Chris.
i just put some on my car & they fit like aglove the drivers side was easier for me than the passengers side i did have topull the alternator & loosen the steering linkage , pull the coilpacks, oilfilter, valvecover, they should go right in ,passengers side coilpacks ,valve cover ,did not have to drop the starter they fit well u should recieve aset of lock washers with your headers i did just use your lock washers & use the old manifold gasket tip :take the back header bolts out first
Use the GM gasket and none other. I debated the bolt thing a while back. I ended up buying the ones with the locking tabs, forget the brand name. They are a steel coated bolt. However I have yet to install the locks. Too much trouble. Just be sure to use anti-seive on the bolts.
Chris
I'm going to use the "dead soft" gaskets, I've used them before on other applications and liked them. I will also use the locking header bolts (stainless Stage 8)....just my opinion though.
I bought felpro ls1 manifold gaskets, they are metal on both side with somthin in the middle,,,used the stock bolts with antisieze and just made sure they were tight,,,,,anybody have feedback on this,,,,,I did not use lock washers or locktite,,,,just antisieze, I will check after I run the car fr a while
