i have Indy Pros and sound when car was stock very nice, then headers and little louder, then H/C and louder, then catless and neighbors are mad...But as long as you have cats should be ok....with x-pipe i have no resonnance at any rpm, at cruise it is quiet but explouds at WOT...they have their own unique sound not as deep as B&B but still good muscle-car sound, not as aggressive as stingers or loudmouth...very good build quality.
I LOVE my Corsa Indy's.. :yesnod: Check out my CF homepage with the link below..Videos and pics of my car and Corsa's. Specifically check out the idle video....I think you will agree..GREAT SOUND
I like my Corsa Indys with pro tips! It sounded great when I had them installed. Quiet when cruising around, but it really wakes up when you accellerate, especially at WOT. Then I put on Stainless Works LT headers & intermediate pipes & crossover pipe, with Random Tech cats. It gives it a more full sound, and I really like it.
I have the Indy's with an FLP longtube header/high flow cat/X-pipe kit and agree with everyone else's opinions. Nice at idle, no resonance, scream at WOT. Personally, I like it better than the SLP or the Corsa Touring.
I like them but wish it had a more muscle car sound...take a look at the GHL's also more muscle sound. IMHO Also deffinately get an X-pipe, huge difference in popping for any exhaust.

:iagree: I had Corsa Indy's, and liked them a lot (particularly at WOT :D), but wanted something deeper with a better sound at idle. I switched to GHL's, and am very happy that I did. They've got a much deeper rumble, sound mean at WOT, and (like the Corsa's), there's no resonance.
If you can do it, I'd suggest trying to find some people in your area that have different exhausts, and listen to them. That's the only way you can really know what you'll like.
I love the sound, very reminiscent of the 69 Camaro Z28. Many of the other systems have no high frequencies and sound muffled to me. The Indy's sound so much cleaner.
And there is NO nasty resonance like many of the other systems. Just read some of the post. Resonance will cause you to hate driving your car.
i got the indy pace car with pro tips and i don't like them. motorboat sound at idle then it sounds a little bit better at wot but not that great and then goes quiet at cruise.
i'm gonna take them off and find something that sounds like a fast car should.

Exhaust sound is a very personal thing. I have Corsa Indy Daytonas and Stainless Works LTs on my 2002. The LTs increased the agressiveness [loudness] and also the RWHP. I don't really like the motor boat idle of the Corsas or the pretty loud popping on deceleration [particulalary when cold] sounds like a handgun going off in the neighborhod - so I may try an X pipe this spring to see if that eliminates the idle sound and popping.
I do love the Indys, but from what I hear about Stingers I'd probably really like them to but I don't like their tips!! Corsa make the best looking tips IMHO, w/GTRs being my favorite!! Soon as I get them, I am going to install LGPro headers. Looking forward to the extra bite (sound and HP that is)!!
Do get the xpipe with whatever you go with, makes a big difference!
I just put on the Corsa Tiger Shark Indy's, Corsa's X-pipe, and a Blackwing a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. In the upper ranges of RPMs it reminds me of a Formula 1 car, sounds fantastic. I haven't turned on the stereo since the install!!! The Tiger Sharks look TOO COOL with all four tips right in the middle,VERY EXOTIC!! Mine is an A4 coupe, so I just drop down into 3rd to listen to the pipes. As a matter of fact, I tend to go through the gears manually most of the time now, just to listen to them. Like above, very quiet when you want them to be, and unmistakeable when you want to be heard!! Definitely do the X-pipe with them. Corsa has the best looking tips on the market, bar none, and if you're going to spend that kind of money on an exhaust, it should look the part too!!
Just my opinion, but I'm happy with the money I spent!
 :smash:  :smash:  :smash:
I have them and think they have the best WOT sound out there, but the idle needs a little work. Some people have described the sound as "boaty" because Corsa also makes exhaust for several boats, and many people first heard that sound out on the lake/sea/ocean.
I drove by the guy in a trunk the other day and his exaust sounded about ten times better than mine...maybe because of the longer tubes.
