Default Z06 shock ID?

Are there any markings or numbers on the shocks to identify them as being Z06 shocks? Part numbers or something? I would like to be able to know as mine are being drop shipped thru a dealer order. Since he wont be able to see them I want to verify I get the right ones. Thanks

I just had mine put in yesterday with front and back 04 Z06 sways. All I do know is the ID's were different and didn't pay any more attention to that. Where did you buy them? I would think once you receive call your local dealer with the ID #'s they can tell you if they're correct or not. All I know is they feel alot better than what I have, so I'm happy. I think you'll find they're quite the set up. Car feels firmer but ride quality is still there if not better. They soak up the big bumbs in the road very well. Hit my favorate corner and did not slide as usual.

Good luck, and enjoy!!

I got them from Fred Beans . The price was right but he said they are in real short supply right now and at the time I placed my order there were only 10 sets available in the whole country. I guess he was out of stock too and got some from other dealers and rather than ship to him first he had them ship directly to me. He sells an lot of corvette parts I guess as a side line with his bosses approval because they are a gmc pontiac dealership. I got a lot of other stuff thru them. The prices he quotes includes shipping. Most stuff I get within 3 days. excellent customer service. He usually answers emails within the same day :steering:

Jan,

These shocks are not from another dealer. These are directly from the GM warehouse who would ship them to me and then in turn ship them to you. I cut out the shipment to me and I am shipping them directly to you.

No problem. I get so many emails and I reply to 99% of them the same day and sometimes I know what I'm saying but I don't get it across the way I meant it.
