headlights wont go down!! Can Anyone help?

headlights wont go down!! Can Anyone help?
Ok, to make it short, one headlight was making a nasty noise so i had the actuator replaced (front left). Since then, they pop up periodically for no reason and wont go down at all. If i turn them on using the switch (even though they are already on) and then turn them off, they will shut and just reopen, or just stay open all together.
So far, my car has had to be jumped twice from this happening overnight. I just dumped a good $1200 to get new breaks and dont have the cash to have a dealer look at it. any thoughts? :mad

Well, someone just work on this, so I would look for errors.
I'd recheck all the wiring. Then look for linkage bindage, loose bolts and screws and then grease the linkage. Make sure the right size/amp fuses are installed for the HL system. Then maybe jump the wires and see if they work "hot" and therefore I'd look to the switch.
As a last resort I would pull the assembly and try to test them on a bench if in car repairs fail.
Difficult to diagnosis over the net.
