Don't buy from Cartek. They will take your money and send you the wrong part and never make good on all thier promises, ain't that right Dave. Many months have passed and after stating on this forum infront of everyone they would make it right and still nothing. Great service Dave  :bs

They sent me one wrong fitting to go into the porportiopnal valve. I took off the original fitting and had Earl's Performance parts modify the line to fit, cost $5. I didn't have time to wait on Cartek, because the installation was almost complete when I discovered the problem.
Would someone explain to me how the line lock works and where in the breaking system it goes? I already understand that it locks the front tires to allow you to do burnouts but don't know how. Thanks. (Hope I'm not hijacking your thread, if so, I'll edit my post out)
Thanks guys for the heads up on Cartek. I am still looking for more info, but will check out the summit racing tip. Thanks

Now to crom, I am not all that knowledgeable about line locks either, but here is what I know.
A line lock is kinda like a check valve that, once the brakes are applied and held, you turn on a switch that would hold the fluid from releasing (the front brakes only). After your burn out (remember only front brakes are locked), you release the switch, therefore allowing your wheels to roll.
What fittings did you have to buy and exactly where did you cut and mount the Line Loc ?
I bought ISO fittings locally from a parts supply house and still have the old rig from my convertible, I plan on going down there and get a duplicate set for my new install and also to document the exact fittings, so others can easily obtain 'em :)
The line from the proportioning valve to the ABS block, there are two and you need to "splice" the line-loc between the one for the front brakes.
How did it affect ABS ?
None at all, just make sure to bleed correctly and I suggest a "power bleeder" from RedShift's site
There are lots of posts on the line lock. Search archived and don't put in a
forum choice.
I believe there are different fittings for different years. I have an 03' and had to have the line from the master to the line lock custom made. The fitting was a different size from earlier years.
