Breaks Question
Afterwards I nursed it home using the 6spd to slow down with very minimal breaking to just bing it to a full stop when neccessary. I thought perhaps I blew a hose to a slave cylinder or the fitting came loose due to the pumping action of the ABS.
I can't find any fluid under the car and, with it running, if I hold the break down hard, it doesn't creep towards the floor like a leaky wheel cylinder.
It feels more like the piston in the master cylinder is not returning when you let off the break? Is that possible? The peddle feels very light for about 3/4 of its travel then it presents a more normal feel.
Ideas??

Well, look for oil at the calipers. Check the fluid level in the master cylinder reservior.
Could be air if all checks out so go for a bleed.
Perhaps some abs stopping test could be safely done.
Seems strange as these cars can abs stop all day long.
Easiest thing to do is pull the calipers and clean/grease the slide pins. Then I'd bleed the brakes and see where you are then.
HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

The fluid level in the master seems to be a little lower, maybe an 1/8 of an inch. I like the bleading idea, I'll check it out.
Thanks for the ideas.
