Default Be Cool Radiator For A4 Question.

Is the Be cool for the C5 a direct drop in? If not, what are the fitments needed and can you order them from be cool? Would you buy direct from Be cool or elsewhere. The car already has an oil and tranny cooler (mounted in front of a/c condenser). They said to get the 60085 which deletes the tranny fittings but still costs $640! My car is a daily driver in Fla as well as an occaisional road course/auto-x/drag racer. I have 2 extra 10" racing fans and a 172 stat which help the temp alot but in the summer with the a/c on the temps go past 230 in traffic. Is this the best option? Any hints for my local corvette mechanic who hasn't put many of these in?

Keep in mind this info... with a larger radiator comes the need for high output fan system. This is why I had to go back to the OE fans with the ATI setup because the POS fan that came with the ATI kit would not cool down the larger radiator.

I have 2 extra 10" fans that go on when the ati fan goes on, they made a difference just not enough to do repeated laps.

Check out Dewitts. Lot cheaper and well made. Drops right in. You need to verify the tranny cooler fittings with Tom Dewitt.
