OBC problem?

OBC problem?
I am hoping someone can help me determine what is happening to my 2000 C5. Here are the symptoms:
1) About 3 weeks ago - grid displays low fuel and gas gauge shows empty - false reading. No further symptoms from the gas gauge.
2) Friday, mileage displays on normally blank grid display. I use the grid control buttons to remove the display. Reappaers again during commute home.
3) Upon arriving home from the same commute when the mileage appears on the grid, the factory security sytem will not engage and I have to lock manually with the key
4) Later I come out and the security system works to unlock via remote.
5) During a short drive Saturday, after coming to a hard stop then a rapid acceleration, the entire grid dispay appears to "reboot", the radio goes off, and the ABS starts to engage. When I stop at my destinatin, the same symptom of the security system not working happens.
6) after sitting for a couple of hours, everything works fine for the trip back home.
Can anyone share with me their similar experiences or can assist me in identifying the cause of these electronic glitches?
