There is a second advantage to two-piece rotors that use an aluminum hat section - The aluminum hat section draws heat away from the rotors faster than the iron hat section of the one-piece rotors.

Aren't the 2 pc. rear rotors (at least Eradispeeds) larger than stock? I just bought the one piece Eradispeeds because I don't care for the 2 -tone look on the rear rotors caused by the caliper/pad only wiping 1/2 of the larger 2 peice rotor.

The rear 2-piece Eradispeeds are larger than stock by a big margin. I would recommend 2-piece for track and high speed use and for looks, if you want to pay extra for it, and one-piece for street and lower cost applications. They all work fine on track, but the 2-piece have a definite cooling and weight advantage.
