headlights go dim
hey guys got a question.l have 1997vette and this pass saterday night i was out and rolled the passenger window down the headlights went dim let go of the buttion and the lights where ok, then i rolled the driver side and the lights did the same thing. the passenger side was rolled from the passenger side ,any clue???? thanks for the help.

How dim are they going and are you noticing your voltmeter take a drop. Do you have an underdrive pulley? At any rate it could be a bad negative battery cable/connector, an altenator that has seen its useful days go by :banghead: , or maybe the battery going south :mad The easiest to check and fix would be the cable/connector. Next step I would take it to Sears or someplace the like and have the charging system checked if you are still worried about it.

I had the same problem since i picked my car up new. Finally had to replace the battery and now no more dimming headlights. :D

That's normal. You should upgrade to our European Headlight kit and then the problem will go away :lol:
