Tire/Wheel recommendations
What does everyone recommend as the best rim sizes for MAX handling with a 2002 C5 coupe? I have already upgraded to 2004 ZO6 shocks and sway bars. Coil over shocks are in the future.
For Example: 17x9.5 & 17x11
17x9.5 & 18x10.5
18x9.5 & 18x10.5

Re: Tire/Wheel recommendations (RTDillon)
Vette magazine did a test (it's available on the web) in which they put GS offset ZR1 wheels with BFG G Force TA tires on a C5 coupe and it was faster on a racetrack than a Z06. So my vote is for 17 x 9.5 front with 275-40/17's, and 17 x 11 rear with 315-35/17's. I think the Z06 sways and Shocks are a good move.

For what it's worth, I put the rear rims on the frt with 265 tires, bought a pair of 18x 10.5's for the rear with 295's. 2 yrs with this set up and is very good handling and at launch.

Re: Tire/Wheel recommendations (FKING1)
If I moved the rear to the front, where could I pick up a set of 18x10.5 OEM copy rims for the back?

Re: Tire/Wheel recommendations (RTDillon)
Richard,
I would like to recommend that you consider the following:
FRONT
Pirelli 275/35ZR18Y P Zero tires on 18 x 9.5 inch rims.
REAR
Pirelli 305/30ZR19Y P Zero tires on 19 x 11.0 inch rims.
Good luck with your decision.

18x10.5 replica wheels. Several of the Vette aftermarket cos. carry them including Mid-America.

I think you will find numerous combo's. One of the more popular is the 18x9.5, 18x10.5. You can run 265/295 35's and there are a bunch of tire makes that have those sizes. HTH
