go to the dealer and have them use a tech II and turn the "???" code off, I can't remember the code number, but someone will chime in with the code #. anyways after the turn this code off, you will be able to turn the sential on/off like a U.S. vette.
If nothing else, saves wear and tear on the light switch. :D I use mine all the time.
Its the wear and tear on the headlight motor and gears I worry about. :D
I like the feature but turned it off because it was always turing the headlamps on when not needed. Like starting in the garage.
I had this feature on my 2000 Coupe.... if you lower the parking brake to the first click then exit the garage, the headlights won't pop up. They are tied to the DRL sensor circuit thingy, so if you keep your DRLs off, the lights will stay off. My e-brake doesn't engage on the 1st click.
**Note if you drop the parking brake all the way down, you've blown it. You gotta stop on the 1st click for this to work.**
