Default Tire Sensor Needed?

Just bought some drag radials and a spare pair of wheels. Do you have to have sensors? If so then can I easily switch back and forth between my regular wheels and the drag setup?

You'll get a warning on the DIC that you can simply "reset" away, if you mount your tires without sensors in them.

There is really no choice, as only 4x sensors can be programmed at once, and you would have to reprogram your TPM system each time you changed wheels. That would be a PITA.

Yes it would be a PITA. :) Mounting them w/o sensors sounds great. So all I have to do is reset after the DIC tells me there is a problem and them I can look at other things after that?

Yes.

And if you are only bolting those wheels (w/o the sensors) on when you go to the track, it's very possible you won't even see a DIC error msg for a while.
