if you currently have the 2.73 ratio, just multiply any driven RPM by 1.25 to get the 3.42 equivalent; or by 1.085 if you currently have the 3.15 ratio.
Not exacting, but will get you within... say... 20 rpm of what it will actually be.
I went from 21.6/26.5 to 19.6/24.5 when I went from 3.15s to 3.73s.
My rpms increased by about 400 at 75mph.
(Mike are you getting the C6 or the 3.73s?) :D
No C6 for me. I drove all the way to the NAIAS in Detroit ; just to come back dissapointed.
I'm currently looking at the Kooks - high-flow cat setup for my 2002. I would like to improve the sound.
Do yourself a favor and get the 3.73's with a decent stall. I wanted my setup to be conservative, and was coaxed into the 3.73's after I was dead set on getting 3.42's installed. I am very happy ECS broke it all down for me and talked me into doing the 3.73's. Now I just wish I would have gone with a more aggresive stall.
