TI Exhaust
I have a stock exhaust on my 99 C5. I have a chance to buy a complete TI exhaust (including headers). Will this bolt up correctly and is it worth upgrading the stock headers to the headers that come with the TI exhaust?

if you are talkin actual HEADERS and the complete set up being Titanium.....then you will see n ice gains
if you are talking about the stock exhaust MANIFOLDS, and stock intermediate pipe plus the Ti cat back from a Z06, you will see some gains but not near what you would with actual headers :nonod:
if you are getting a good deal on it ($400 or $500 for ALL) then do it
the 01 up ex manifolds flow pretty good compared to 97-00 :yesnod: so you will see a little from that, and the Z06 cats flow a tad better too :yesnod:
the Ti cat back flows nicely too...............if the parts are 02 Z06 and up (not 01) you will see the best gains

Thanks. They are the stock exhaust manifolds and not headers. I may do something later but this seems like a good mod for now. These will sound better and flow better.
Or, should I consider a nice short tube header instead at this time or just wait and see how I like this? I have seen that Borla and B&B makes a short tube version.
Any installation concerns other than the typical rear sway issues?
