Engine shimmy problem?

Engine shimmy problem?
I changed plugs to GM Iridium and changed the exhaust from Corsa pace to B & B bullet at the same time. I know notice the engine feels like it has a very small shimmy in it............like a small cam feeling.
I went to a local shop and they told me that a less restrictive exhaust can cause this shimmy? Is this right? I gapped the plugs perfectly.........and I am pretty sure I got all coil and spark plug wires seated well.

That problem with engine shimmy may also be caused by spark plug gap. I gapped the iridiums at.040 per instructions from Chevy. I called AC Delco yesterday and they told me that .040 was recommended but I dont see how that is possible if the stock gap is .055? :confused:

I've owned 2 LS1's and now a LS6. They all shimmy a bit. Its not smooth all the time. I would guess you didn't notice it before. Now your more in tune with what you hear and feel from the car.
