My mom has a '99 C5 which has burned out one of the low beams. Can someone explain to me what is involved with changing this out? She is in CA and I'm in TX, and I hate the thought of having to tell her to go to a dealer / shop to get something like this fixed. I'm hoping it is easy enough I can walk her through it on the phone as she is not a 'car guy', so to speak.
Withe headlight in up position remove the 3 or 4 bezel screws and bezel...reach twist and pull...insert new bulb
:iagree:
If your mom is not a Techie, then have her get some trustworthy teen to do it and reward him w/ a couple of movie tix or something. :grouphug:
Of course, you could also do a test run on a local 'Vette (at least look at the headlight assy) so you can advise her or whomever what to be on the lookout for. :yesnod:
