clearence problems with a vortex and power duct combo?
I have purchased the Vortex air system and also a carbon fiber power duct. It seem to be very, very tight where the power duct meets the mass air meter and it may be touching the hood when closed? The power duct does not rest on the fan shroud like the stock one, it is about 1 inch over it in the middle,is this correct? Any help is thankfull.

I'm about to take receipt of a Vortex intake and duct...I'll be interested to see what kind of replies you get. :cheers:

I have the vortex with a regular power duct. The duct does sit just a bit over the radiator cover and hence not as low as the stock duct. It also slghtly rubs the hoodliner as a result of this however even with this I do not see this as a major issue considering the benefits of the vortex.
I have also read here that a few c5 owners have a similiar issue using the stock duct so I am not concerned.
