Clutch Suggestions
Hey guys...I just got my Vette about 4 days ago, and I have a feeling the guy I bought it from went on a few mashing sessions before I got it because now the clutch feels like its goin out. It's very difficult to get into reverse without it grinding, and its making grinding noises in the lower gears when I'm first starting out.
My question is since I dont plan on modding the engine until the warranty is up (2 years 25k miles from now) what clutch should I go with that wouldnt void a warranty?
The car is only a weekend warrior, not my daily driver, and I will go to the track a few times I'm sure.
Should I go with an aftermarket clutch like Spec? Or should I get a Z06 clutch? I dont want to spend a ton, because I dont have a ton to spend...in fact...I dont think I'll be able to afford it for quite some time.
Please offer any suggestions and whatever you think I need to know about this topic. Thanks a ton guys/gals....Joe

Hey Joe,
I just had a SPEC stage 3 installed last week by MSI in Roseville. I really like the feel. I have no doubt this one's going to last awhile. Give Terry a call at MSI. They are forum venders. A great bunch of guys. They will take good care of you. See you around.
