I've only had mine a couple of weeks but have noticed no squeeking and the car feels tighter, the guys in shop said it was a m&^^%$#* putting them in however--
I've had mine for about a year. They did not squeek at first, but after about 6 months they began making a little noise. Its nothing bad, it just makes a very small creek when going out of the driveway first thing in the morning at slow speed. After that they are all quiet. They did make a big difference in the handling of the car, definitely worth the time and effort.
I had the VBP bushings put on by the dealer. They didn't read the instructions and treated them like other bushings so when I got the car back they squeaked like hell. After I talked to the VBP help line I went back to the dealer and they disassembled everything and lubricated the bushings per the instructions. After that they were as quiet as the rubber bushings.

fill them with the lube they provide and you'll have no squeek. The difference is noticable and well worth it. I swapped mine because the rubbers were moaning during slow turns. 20 minutes each end.
My kit consisted of a lot of bushings that went everywhere so I must have done a lot more it took a hell of a lot longer than 20 minutes but the lube is a must--
No experience on the C5 but I put polygraphite bushings in my C3. No problems after 2 years. I went with the polygraphite though because I had heard horror stories of others with poly only. Some reportedly were so bad that they redid their car again with stock rubber.
