Default does anyone have a schematic for the C5 front bumper assembly?

I got run off the road and into a curb resulting in a broken skid brace.
the front bumper cover seems to be okay other than distorted by the bent skid brace/protector/ or whatever you call that thing. Looking for a blow up of the front bumper assembly.

thanks! :( :( :( :grouphug:

There is no schematic that I am aware of in the Service Manual. Replacement of the skid bar is detailed in the Frame and Underbody section of the Service Manual (Section 8). The Service Manual has step-by-step instructions with line drawings of the applicable parts. I think your best bet would be to secure use of the correct year Service Manual.

The procedure involves:
Raising and supporting the car.

Supporting the radiator.

Removing the center air deflector.

Removing the left and right fascia closeout panels.

Removing the bolts attaching the fascia to the right and left skid bar brackets.

Removing the bolt attaching the lower radiator support to the right skid bar bracket and the bolt attaching the support to the left skid bar bracket.

Reposition the left brake caliper cooling duct.

Remove the tie strap attaching the AIR hose to the skid bar.

Remove the AIR pump bracket attaching bolts.

Reposition the AIR pump.

Reposition the AIR pump electrical harness.

Remove the wire harness from the clip on the right rear side of the skid bar.

Remove the harness connector from the right front side of the skid bar.

Remove the horn bracket with the horns from the skid bar.

Disconnect the horn electrical connection.

Support the skid bar.

Remove the four skid bar to frame attaching bolts.

Lower the skid bar, removing the right radiator insulator from the skid bar.

Transfer parts as necessary.

On reinstallation, many of the bolts will require an inch-pound torque wrench.

Best bet is secure use of the proper year Service Manual.
