Default I went and done it...

I ordered longtube headers from LG Sports today and 4.10 gears from DTE. Lou says the headers will probably ship this week. I'm debating if I can handle the install myself in my garage or if I need to have it done. I plan to drive to Ft. Wayne in a couple of weeks when the gears are ready and let DTE do the install on that. After all the responses and opinions that I received on gears I decided to go with the 4.10s on the A4. Sounds like I won't have any trouble doing burn outs if I want to show off. I drove it around on the Interstate this weekend in 3rd gear which closely approximates the RPMs for 4.10s. Gas miles will suffer but it should be maximum fun to drive. If all those that advised lower gears were right I can always take it out and swap with the 3.42 in my MN6. Thanks for the help everyone. Broke again..., alright still...

Whew, 4.10s on an A4, your torque should be tremendous. RPMs will be alittle high cruise. I love the 4.10s on my M6!!

Good luck, hope its what and the way you want it!!!

I think the 3.90's would do more for the A4. :nonod:

The only way I would recommend 4.10's on an A4 if its 90% used for drag racing. On the street I would go as high as 3.73's.
