:smash: I called Shawn to see if they were going to be open on Presidents Day, and if they were I wanted to install the Borla's and the Magnaflow X pipe, and not wait for 'Dyno Day.
Well they ran the car before the install and after. Joe did the install of the open element air cleaner, the X pipe, and Borla Stingers. Al and Shawn both, monitored the dyno runs.
Stock run was 316.60 HP and 334.71 Torque.
Perf. run was 323.14 HP and 341.09 Torque.
Kudos to Al & Shawn and their tech's. Great job.
I'll still see everyone on 'Dyno Day' :hurray: :hurray:
The next thing on the agenda will be a performance dyno tune. Al showed me on the print out, how lean the car is running with the factory set up. He was surprised at the stock numbers, citing that there was very little HP being lost through the drive train. Al said it would not be unrealistic to get 365 HP to the rear wheels, by adjusting fuel delivery, timing etc.
Eventually I'll look into changing the Throttle Body and probably later on look at headers. Long tube is the only way to go even though they are not legal in CA. But unless you do a visual from under the car I don't think they would be detectable. CA. says you cannot move the cats. That's why you can't use them in CA/
By the way, I saw Blader's car on the rack while I was there getting a Rear end install.
