Disabling TPS...Can the dealer do it??
I want to disable the TPS on my 2002 C5. I have the HRE wheels and I installed the sensors using the banding method. I cannot get the rear sensors to work. (I have reinstalled them, done the magnet-calibrating routine, etc). I keep getting the annoying Low Pressure messages on the DIC. I just want to remove the friggin' sensors and disable the system. (Hitting the "reset" button has never worked for me for some strange reason).
With the custom MMS programming for my blown forged motor, will the dealer be able to disable the TPS system without altering the tuning???

They should have the tool (Tech 2 programmer) to do it, and it should take them all of 5 minutes to do without disturbing anything else...but whether or not they'll do it is the question.
*note for anyone else reading this, this only works on 01 and newer cars.
