Just got my pulley off today as a matter of fact. I am doing a cam swap also, so I do have the radiator out. I would say it is POSSIBLE to do it without removing the radiator, but the big problem for me was getting the steering rack disconnected from the cross member, and I needed every bit of clearance and every ounce of leverage I could to do this, you may or may not have the same problem. I guess you could always start with the radiator in, and if it got out of hand, you could then take it out. But yes, it is possible.

Check out some of my projext pix at this link:

Good luck!

When I was down at 21 Century Musclecars in DFW, Texas, I was asking one of their mechanics about installing an UD pulley on an 02Z. He said you just have to remove the rack and pinion setup out the side (which didn't look that hard from what he was showing me), and then you can access the pulley and bolt fairly easy. Didn't appear that you have to move the radiator at all.

yes, the rack will come out one of the front wheel wells, but is tricky. Lot's of manuvering and knuckle-scraping. I do prefer the radiator/condenser out + hood off so that i can sneak the rack out the front rather than wheel well.
