i think c5 coils are the same as a 6.0 truck......i have a silverado with a 5.3 and they are smaller(5.3 is smaller)...my neighbor has a 6.0 and his are identical to my corvette's
It seems stock coils are good to 850fwhp, truck coils go 'higher'. Someone suggested renting a truck and swapping coils - not recommended, but repairing your car with rental car parts is an interesting concept.
Delco makes the car coils, Mitsubishi Electric (Melco) makes the truck coils. Apparently there are square body and round body. Some of the square body coils have heat fins, but good results were found from coils from the Avalanche trucks. Round body coils are found in 2004 trucks which don't seem to work.
