dimming headlights
my headlights dim when the rpm's drop or when i tap the brake pedal. went to the dealer, tested my battery...11 volts, needed replacing, so i did. drove it last night with the new delco batttery and the headlights still dim!! anyone??

The dimming is slight right? Mine has done this since it had 3 miles on it. More pronounced if everything electric is on, but yes, sitting at a red light I see it as well -Nothign to worry about - Has NEVER caused any trouble. However, when I measure voltage at idle, I am still over 13 volts - have you tried that yet? (just want to make sure your alternator is not going south)

Mine does it too. Always has. It got real bad one day and actually started flickering which was due to loose battery cables. After tightening the flickering went away but it still dims.

Had a problem simular to this with dim lights The first thing I thought was an alternator going, but both my batt cables were loose and it fixed the problem

Me "three", had loose battery cables. Check and tighthen them, BUT don't over tighthen, especially if you don't have an AGM battery, because this can cause them to leak.
