I bought a used set of Flowmasters, and I like them. There is some resonance, but ceratinly not as louad as Corsa Indys in the cockpit. If you go with Flowmasters you should be aware they do not come with over the axel pipes. You eill either need to cut up your OEM pipes, or do what I did, buy a take off set for $50 and cut them up(Iprefer to keep EVERY part I take off my car). I have even seen free sets of OEM C5 pipes in the parts section of this forum. I think the FM's have more of a muscle car sound that many of the other brands, some of which sound more high pitched and euro...
I have Flowmasters on my C5 right now I like the sound they are a little loud inside & resonance but Great muscle car sound! I just don't like the tips. I just ordered a new set of Borla's they will be on my car next week. This was based on my post last week which sound better Borla's or Corsa's.

Re: C5 and Flowmaster Mufflers? (VetteFREAK001)
VetteFREAK001,
I've had flowmasters on my coupe for 2 years now! :)
First w/stock engine w/P1SC, I thought they sounded great-no resonance at any speed, but sounds off at WOT! A friend of mine didn't like them-he prefers the 60's style big cam early exhaust valve opening sound!
Then I got a 427/229 cam/LT headers w/3" back to mufflers-now he loves the sound-it sounds lika a Ferrari on steroids! :smash:
But it has a lot of resonance at different speeds. It's OK at 65-70.
When I'm really on it, it's what I imagine a super cars PRIMAL SCREAM would be-everyone looks:confused: , old ladies are terrified:eek: , little kids run away :cry , but the cognoscente  just stand there and smile! :D
When I get time, I'd like to see if they have 3" Flowmasters for C5's!
