Second fasted C5 that is. We have been working on some new belt tricks with the car and we are almost done. The car went well on Sat but unfortunatly we did not put up a back up number on Sunday when it would have counted. The first run on Sunday we bent the power steering bracket which caused us to toss some belts so we parked the car. We are working on some updates to make it much stronger. The good news is that we are getting the car dialed in.
Ran 9.7 at 142.6 with a 1.58 60 ft. We can usually get 1.48 60 fts but we left a little softer and did not spray the car untill after the 60ft mark. I think if we sprayed it right out of the whole we would have got a mid 9.6 pass. Also the DA was right about 1700 feet. Cant wait till some good -2500 Jersey air to come. All in all we had a great time and was a pleasure to meet everyone.. Thanks to Cartek for hosting a great event. :seeya :seeya
Re: Had 2nd fastest car this weekend (CHRIS NJ C5)
cHRIS--great meeting you and seeing you work I am jealous of all the great competition in the NE area too bad I can't live there (in the summer of course) sorry I missed the great run saturday hopefully someone has a video--I have to assume Paul was 9.34 run was the one that beat you--no disgrace loosing to that car 422 ci with a 200 shot--

Hey Chris! Nice going! Starting to thaw out so I'll be coming by soon. I need to find out when the dyno thaws out. Sorry to hear about the steering bracket. Again, congrats!
Re: Had 2nd fastest car this weekend (CHRIS NJ C5)
It is a shame about the breakage, that car was hauling down the track on that 9.70 pass. Would have loved to see what she would have done with about five passes for you guys to dial it in. Thank the guys for letting Matt hang around this weekend. The boy couldn't get enough of the nos everybody was using.
