Great lights below 70, once temps get 70 or higher, slow lights..
I am not doing anything different...
I need help.. Can you read this post I made & offer thoughts?
Thanks. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=760537

if your problem is related to ambient temp.look at intake air temp.the intake temp sensor influences ignition timing and mixture.just a thought.to see if the temp sensor is accurate.with the car cold[best after sitting overnight],if you have access to a scanner of some sort[a-tap,efi-live,etc.],key on,engine off look at engine coolant temp and intake temp.they should both be very close[within 2-3 degrees of each other],if not, more than likely the intake sensor is bad[this sensor could be goofy without setting a cel].just a thought

is the IAT sensor the little plug in one in my air duct?
I know on the 2000 there is a sensor INSIDE the duct...

It looks like a resistor I think.. Is that what you're talking about?

Hey Ellis.

dpd could be correct. You may want to also check the connector on the IAT. Mine and Dennis' went bad. The connector on my MAF sensor also did the same. Remember the problem that I was having with hitting the rev limiter...well... found out it was the connector on the MAF. The wires are pathetically thin. I replaced them both with aftermarket connectors. (heavier gauge wires)

To check the connector, start the car, let the idle stabilize, and wiggle the wires at the connector, if the rpms vary, that is your problem. BTW, Neither one ever set a code. It's worth a try.

wow! unbelieveablely great responses guys!

I will check the IAT next time I'm at my tech or dealer, & Mikie, can't believe you found your problem! Excellent dude..

I will do a little wiggle at the MAF connector wires, and try to see if someone out there can help me with the IAT sensor.

Mikie... Is that how you found out your IAT was bad, from EFI live or autotap?

You know how I am ALWAYS saying how slow to respond my car is off the line in warmer weather, but once Oct/Nov hit, I kick butt...

I know something is up..... Gotta find it, because I KNOW after 2 years, its NOT me!!!
