Since auto-x isn't hard on brakes would my street ceramic pads do ok auto-x? I'm getting street and race pads so I'm wondering if I need to swap in my race pads for auto-x.
Thanks,
Brian

You'll be better off with ceramics or other street pads at auto-x than with full on track pads. You dont make enough heat in auto-x to get track pads upto temp.

Agreed. Make sure that these "street" ceramic pads heat up quickly otherwise you won't stop. Kinda like running roadrace tires instead of autocross tires.

I run 12-15 AutoX events a year, and run the GM ceramic pads. They are a great compromise between stopping power and street use. they are QUIET and almost dustless !!
