Re: Headers & Gears (crom)
My day at work is usually about 10 - 12 hours, can you be more spacific? The reason I am asking is because I am having this done to my 2001 coupe and was trying to figure out how much labor is going to be and to make sure I am not paying more then I should be. Thanks!

Re: Headers & Gears (MJMJ)
Gears should be pretty consistent in terms of labor hours, but headers may vary on install time due to differences in install procedure.... jacking my motor today to slide in the Kooks tubes...

Re: Headers & Gears (99SilverC5Coupe)
I was charged 3 1/2 hours for gears. My headers were done by me and a buddy so can't help you with that one. Kaley

Re: Headers & Gears (2C5only21)
Gears cost me $400, flat rate + fluids + tax. No idea about time involved.
don't remember the cost on the header install though...

Re: Headers & Gears (MC TORCH RED)
He is about right... I think $750 would cover both easily..... I lucked out and had a very small tranny leak, and a good GMPP warranty. My new differential was installed for basically free.... and my friend's own an exhaust shop, so I can use their lift for the header install.
