Anybody using the Pro-Matrix with SRP Rotors from Wilwood?
Anybody using the Pro-Matrix with SRP Rotors from Wilwood?
First of all, HELLO. That's is my first topic in this community. I'm from Switzerland and I drive a '98 C5 convertible.
I'm currently interested in an OEM break upgrade. I drive my car only on the street (no track use), therefore I would not exchange the calipers.
I have seen the Pro-Matrix OE Brake Upgrade Kit. I also have seen the Eradispeed rotors with Hawk break pads.
Does anyone have good or bad experience with one of the mentioned brake kits?
Which of the products is it worth to spend money?
Greets from Switzerland

Don't bother with the rotors for performance. Wilwood Q low dust low noise and better than OEM or E compound more aggressive but still street and light road race. If you want the rotors for looks fine.

I have the Eradispeed +1 rotors with the Wilwood Ceramic pads.
I bought th Eradispeeds mainly for the visual appearence more than for performance. I found an excellent deal on them used which played a big part in my purchase.
Not a lot of gain in stopping power but love the looks!
The Wilwood ceramic pads are great for the street.
They give you great stopping performance with very little dusting.
Also no noise.
Oh yea, welcome to the forum!

Do the Wilwood pads work with stock 02 coup calipers and rotors? Does anyone else have experience with these? I'm coming up on a new pair soon probably and would love to hear more opinions. I remember on other forums people went through a period of raving about hawk hps pads and then promptly thereafter everyone decided they sucked and dusted/made too much noise. :grouphug:
Would definately like to find a quiet and low dust stock replacement :D

I appreciate every information I got. Thanks.
Is nobody using aftermarked rotors ?
Wilwood SRP Rotors vs. Eradispeed Rotos. Any informations?
Any feedback would help me to decide! Thanks.

Go with the not drilled or Wilwood GT it will hold up better if you drive the car hard. If you want the looks then the Wilwood SRP drilled and slotted. There website tells you not for heavy use.
