I just endured the #7 plug change and had a quick question. It seems like the plug wire is VERY close to the header tube (less than 1cm) is this normal/to be expected/safe? They are taylor pro 8mm spiro's if this helps any. What did you do?
Re: Cyl #7 Taylor plug wire and TPIS headers (Buckmaster)
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most ghetto, how would you rank just putting one on the #7 cylinder? :D I got the drivers side done tonight and I'm gonna do the easier passenger side tomorrow. Then I guess I'll figure out how many of these protectors I need.
Are there any that would be okay with touching the header? I think if I put anything over the boot it will definately contact.
Re: Cyl #7 Taylor plug wire and TPIS headers (TGKx)
Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllll......... ......If you show the car and it's important to you, people WILL notice. If you're concerned about performance...or lack of from a burnt wire I would put them ALL on....but that's just me. They are all pretty close and to me I didn;t want to risk burning ANY wires.
