Default Torque converter question

I THINK i decided to go with a Yank SS3000 converter .

Will i be able to sit on line with my RPMs up to like 2500 without moving off the lights ?

I want to be able to launch with the n2o when i get my diff put in .

I have a 342 gear set now , just waiting on the TC and hardened output shaft .

PS : can anyone see my car in my sig ?

Do you mean an ST3000? Last I checked there was no SS in 3000 stall.

With my SS3600 I can hold the car to around 1500 - 2000 rpm with the brake but havent tried more since I'm trying to break it in. I dont think you'll get 3000 out of it.

Breakin is 500 miles *cry*. Compared to the stock converter it seems quite loose to me in my book, but probably way better than an SY3500 would be.

When I say loose I mean it just takes a good bit more rpm/throttle input to get going, but once it locks up around 50mph its smooth. Its very drivable even in the rain with runcraps if your not putting the peddle down, although I'm probably gonna grab some bfg's.

Hope this answered some of your questions.

Btw this is with a 3.42 rearend.

You should check out Art Carr stall converters, my 2800 converter will hold up to 2500 rpm on the line and gives me great results with driveability.
