Just installed a Corsa Indy catback system (on a M6) and while I can easily align the tips horizontally, both have a slight tilt in towards each other. I have bottomed out the over-the-axle pipe into the muffler but still have a slight tilt-in. Has anyone needed to cut the pipe a little shorter so it allows the muffler to point straight back? I did not have this issue when I intalled a Corsa Touring on my A4.
Re: Cut Corsa over-the-axle pipe for alignment??? (jimk)
I've had three differnt Corsa systems on my car without any problems. Before you cut anything, I would suggest you call Corsa and see what they say. - C.

:iagree: The over the axle pipe is in two pieces,I had to make some adjustments on alinement by loosening the clamps on the axle pipes on my Corsa Daytonas.
Re: Cut Corsa over-the-axle pipe for alignment??? (HEB)
The tips on my first set of Daytonas were incorrectly welded.
Corsa exchanged them without a problem.
But once the new ones were on, there was still a little misalignment.
Talked with West Coast Corvettes and he said that on occasion, they
would need to heat the tip backplate a little and make adjustments.
I didn't need to do that as there is enough "wiggle room" to slightly
bend that backplate with a little force. They lined up just fine.
