Default Which Torque Convertor

Can you tell me which torque convertor to buy and what stall speed to select? I have an 1998 A4 with a 2.73 axle ratio that I am not going to change. I have a Donaldson Blackwing and a Borla touring exhaust.
Thank you

If you are not going to change the gears, then a high stall will be very loose.
Will this be a street only car? Daily driver? I have a Protorque 2400 for sale 2.3 STR. It is brand new, I had it swapped out from protorque after I removed it. I now have a 6spd so will not be putting it back in. Great small converter for the street. It stalls around 2600. $550.00 shipped in the US. :)

Do yourself a favor and swap the 2.73 gears for 3.42s at the same time you install your T/C. As mentioned above just about any converter you select will feel excessively loose with 2.73 gears. You did not mention what your plans are for your car. Do you plan on using DRs? Do you plan on racing at the track for example. If you decide that you still want to keep your 2.73 gears I would go for a converter with a high STR of at least 2.0+ with a 3000-3200 stall to minimize looseness. If looseness is not that important to you I would go with the SS3600 or SS3800.
