Eradispeed rotors what pads? For sqeak free brakes!
I have the two piece eradispeed rotors one piece rears.
Got them new and also powdercoated the calipers and had them
rebuilt. Had hawk street pads but the were sqealing. Switched to
Ray bestos ceramic pads they were better but stillmaking noise.
The car is fine for about 25minutes but when the brakes heat up the sqealing begins only under light braking. Do the pads need to brake in. I don't have many miles on them less then a couple hundred. Any info would be great.
Because I don't how much longer I can take it! Before I throw everthing
away.
Thanks, Jimmy O :smash:

Jimmy-
I used GM ceramic pads- I'm sure they are made by somebody else and GM puts their name on em.
I have about 3K miles on them and they've never made a peep. Dust is a very fine black and wipes off the chrome very easily. Stopping power seems to be the same or very close to the stock pads.
Not sure how all that works with the Eradispeed rotors though-

Put your stock pads back on. They are just as good as any aftermarket. I had Eradispeed rotors installed about two years ago and was ready to buy the fancy aftermarket pads. The Vette shop that done the installation said "Dont waste you money, you have outstanding pads that came with the car". I agree... No squealing and minimum dust...

I recently put new Eradispeeds rotors and rebuilt calipers on my '02 with GM ceramic pads. Not a peep out of this combination, and I probably have about 500 miles on them now.
