I was at Barnes and Nobles last night picked up the latest magazine of Vettes and read a couple of pages on a new tuning software called "The Virtual Dyno". made by http://www.proracingsim.com/ .
Just thought I share this info and as well has anyone or anyone know who has used this software?? It offers a couple of levels of programming for the track and drag strip drivers.
I read some more on it and it turns out to be a simulation software not tuning. :p: . I guess for the guys who want to build an engine and see how it would work then its great.
The software is so-so IMO. I didn't have much luck when I input parameters from my engine, I put my current setup into it and it was pretty accurate as far as what it said my HP should be but then when I tried different head and cam packages it maxed out at 530 HP, maybe it was just me or maybe it was telling me that was the max HP I could get without opening up the throttle body.
BTW, if you want to buy my software I'll let you have it for $50.00
I have Engine Analyzer Pro from Performance Trends, http://www.performancetrends.com, and love it. I've seen a bunch of press on this tool and would like to check it out. It looks like the old Desktop Dyno software.
runamuk- I'll take that software if you want to sell.
