My 99 C5 sounds like a creaky old wagon when the temperatures drop below freezing. Any suggestions as to how this can be remedied would be appreciated.
Its probably your anti-sway bar bushings and or end links (if they are the original plastic links).I believe the front bushing are not supposed to be lubed so replace them, and lube the rears.

Re: Suspension creaking (bakerwt)
Anti-roll bar bushing noise, usually the front ones. Remove clamps, apply a little lube and reinstall. Not uncommon.
BTW, new front (and rear) bushings come prelubed from the factory. Those that said something about the front bar "not supposed to be lubed" mis-speaketh. HTH

Robert :)
Roll bar?
:yesnod: Yes sir. Many people call them (mistakenly) a "sway-bar". They are not. They do not control "sway". That is only a slang term for them. HTH :D
