Default Small oil leak

I have a small oil leak at the front of my oil pan. Is there a way to tighten these bolts up? Do you take out the transverse spring?

If I wanted to take the pan off and clean it
A) Does the engine have to be removed?
B) What type of product is safe to clean the pan and parts above it? What will not have an adverse reaction with Mobil 1?

Thanks guys. :steering:

I once had a leak that I thought was the pan, but it turned out to be the front seal. The seal had been damaged by a bad crank pulley. This is fairly common on high hp motors. Just a thought.

There is a good possiblity, your right. The leak is at the front of oil pan. It is really tough to see anything with that spring in the way. :chevy :chevy
