Opinions on tire selection?
Im new to the board. I just bought a 99 hardtop and the tires need to be replaced. Im looking to buy OE Z06 wheels, so Im wondering which tires would be good for street/light autox? Open for suggestions. Looking at Goodyear Supercars/Michelin Pilot Sports/BF Goodrich KD's

Yokohama AVS Sports are amazing tires..very sticky.............Sport Pilot looks to be a great all-round tire for the Vette (I didn't personally like them on my Z but.............)

I've read alot about the Kumhos, but with my D1-SC combo I don't know if they're going to be enough for my traction needs? May have to go Nitto 555's up front AND 555R's (drag radials) in the rear. Any more suggestions out there?

I don't know if you're looking for runflats or not, but I like my Firestone runflats better than the Goodyears and they are lasting a lot longer too.

I want to thank everyone for their help. Now I have a better idea of what others are using and what works. Also I was interested in Perellis but cant seem to find ones that fit Z06 wheels. Do they make such a tire?

I have Kumho MX tires that are far better than the GY EMTs, IMHO. However, I've heard second hand the BFG KDs are the best for track & daily driving.
