This is the 2nd time in two weeks where my clutch in my stock 2000 c5 (63k mi)has been acting weird, it doesn't fit the description of this thread/tsb: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=752704 but it may be related...Here what seems to happen, I got in the car this morning pushed the clutch pedal down but the pedal doesn't seem to do anything until the pedal is 3/4 of the way down. The clutch returns all the way to the top after I release it, it just seems the 1st 3/4 of the travel is useless  . The 1st time this happened I pumped the clutch a few times, then it started operating like usual. Any Ideas? Thanks
Could be air in the hydraulic line, or a bad slave cylinder, or a clutch whose time has come or any combination of the three. If that's the original clutch, it may be time.
Supposedly the hydrolic's are others are bad in the tranny, I'm going to go aheard and upgrade z06 clucth, is this all I need for upgrade???

Re: Stuck Cluth??? (nericreations)
Not really necessary, but if you've got some miles on her, I'd go ahead. If you decide not to right now, at least you can replace it later if necessary without dropping tranny or anything. HTH
