a4 performance mods..shift kit or pcm programing?
what is best method of improving a4 shift characterists? shift kit or ls1 edit. if ls1 edit does anyone have performance file for a4 calibration? thanks! :)

TransGo shift kit is much better than PCM programming
LS1 Edit does have a transmission section where you can change many settings.

Both. For the 2-3 shift to be as firm as 1-2 shift (normal driving) you need to increase the Base Pressure table values via LS1-Edit. Transgo sets the 1-2 shift firmness via Accumulator shims which is different than just increasing pressure.

My Predator allows alterations of shift quickness, line pressure, RPM, and MPH for shifting (like many other programers). I set mine up kinda radical at the strip, then mellow it out for the drive home.
