Re: Post your vert roll bar pictures here (WRK CAR)
For Verts its actually faster than 13.99 sec 1/4 mile needs a 4 point rollcage, i believe see NHRA web site. If you have a coupe or FRC your ok until power adders or slicks.
There should be a few vert. with rollcages on the board. I will likely put one in shortly but its expensive and takes up to 3 weeks for non bolt on real stuff.
PS you can run faster at the track 1 or 2 times before they shut you down!

Try like one run. I ran my car at Ca. Speed way when it was stock they told me anything under 13.99 and i was done so first run stayed out of it completely second run got on it and tried to stay with my friend's lightning which was running consistant 13.9 14.0 and i ran 13.87 and of the track I was.

:iagree:
I am almost stock and run 13.2 to 13.4 and have been invited to leave.
With that, I have given up on going to NHRA tracks.
Mean Green has a rollcage on his vert.
I sat in his first vert, with a rollcage, and could not adjust the seat to a comfortable position.

That was a big consideration when I had mine custom built. And I'm not even that big a guy (5'9".) Mine allows full seat travel, but the tonneau needs a small notch on each side. No biggie for me - may be for others. While some may chime in and say the bar doesn't meet NHRA specs (and they're right,) the bar is a SAFE design. Additionally, I have over 200 passes at the various NHRA and IHRA tracks in the area and have ALWAYS passed tech - no questions asked - and these were organized competition events - not "Test & Tunes".

Re: Post your vert roll bar pictures here (MC TORCH RED)
6-point. Completely bolt-in (to welded-in mounting points.) I typically leave the main hoop in 100% of the time and just bolt in the door and center brace for track events (3 minutes of work.)
The bar was fabricated and installed by Meyer Engineering. If you followed NHRA, the name will sound familiar. They KNOW how to build roll bars/race chassis, etc.
MC - in your case there are many options. It's the vert guys that have very limited options.
Re: Post your vert roll bar pictures here (vetterdstr)
I have a custom built setup that I installed myself.
