Leaky Diff... (How Long for Service?)
Topic says it all. I dropped it off today at noon. I read where it
takes about 2 hours worth of labor (still inder warranty :D ) Is this true?

7 hours of labor to change a seal? :mad
stupid stealerships. 2 hours is even long for professionals that have done this before. my first time doing the job I could do it within 2 hours.

I believe the book time listed is around 6 hours. Changing the seals on the C5 differential requires you to drop the tranny/differential out of the car.

Rugby, you should have got your pals to do it while you did the headers. :D
Its really not that bad of a job. I fixed it myself for about $10. I used some anerobic sealer around the outside of the place as a backup to the o-ring.
Bgood, it can be done in the car. You only have to remove the driver's side half-shaft, sway bar, etc. Took me just a few hours. Pretty easy.
