It does not drip while sitting, only right after I drive the car I get a couple of drips. It is on the drivers side drive axle cover. Is their anything else it could be like the breather cap???? I already bought a new cover seal, but I hate to tear it down if it could be coming from somwhere else. No warranty this one's all mine
No need to panic. Take it to the dealer. its a known issue and they'll fix it up for ya. Unfortunately, i had to take mine in twice, but it hasn't leaked in 2 years....
Drive your car and then go home and remove the service plug on the dif. If you hear escaping air, you have a clogged vent valve on the top of your diff. That's how I cured my leaking diff problem. Just my 2 cents. I hope this helps
Have you checked the level to make sure it was not overfilled by the factory?
Mine was and after I let the excess out it has not leaked a drop !! :smash:
I already bought the Amsoil! I will try the vent screw and see if the breather is clogged. Thanks for your help! Did you still have to replace the seal or just the vent?
