BLKTIE8 H&C IT'S RUNNING

We're on Day 6, about 22 hrs into it.
We pulled the engine, did the PVC mode for the LS6 intake and put in new Rod Bolts, New Cam, New Oil Pump, New Heads, Harlon Sharp Rockers, underdrive Pully
Hit the Key, It started, shut off the Airconditioner, idles at 600RPM
NO LEAKS!
LS1 Edit for tomorrow, with the EFI Live and TECH Edge WB O2

The C4 looks sweet blue. Hell, Since you have that block out why don't you put new forged rods and pistons in it so when the heads and cam aren't enough anymore your all set for the next power adder. You already have done the hardest part.

Believe you-me, my dad and I have had lots of discussions around it.
This will get him into the 11's, I bet it comes out again next winter for some more cubes.

You could just have a little shop accident, oh I don't know something really heavy and sharp falling in the bores and damaging all the pistons, connecting rods mysteriously bending from a freak magnetic forcefield. MAKE THAT SHORTBLOCK BULLETPROOF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked here on the forum and many helped .
We used a hydralic jack and a 2 by 4 to support the tube.
we have a jack stand under it now ,when the motor goes back in ,the floor jack will go back under it .

Father son projects are always great. My dad and I have tore my C5 apart many times in the garage on jackstands for driveline and engine changes.

We could open a shop tomorrow, if I thought I could feed my family on it. Believe me when you enjoy something, your usually an expert or your goal is to be one.
