Default Convertible Glass Window

After a car wash my glass window separated from the plastic ring attached to canvas top. It looks like it might of been glued by I see no residue? Anyone know how to re-attach the glass window to the canvas?

The glass is bonded to the canvas top and I haven't heard of anyone successfully reattaching the window, but that doesn't mean it's not possible

In the past, the guys have just replaced the portion of the top that contains the window... Best of luck to you in gluing it back into place.

I came across this on another forum. Might be worth a try.
----------------------
Last week I came accross the owner of a '98 Pace Car Edition who told me he had the same problem (a buddy of his, who also has a '98,also had the glass pop off the top). He told me he fixed it with 3M's 5200 marine epoxy. I tried it and so far it seems to be holding. We'll see how it works out in the long run. The stuff comes in black or white and it's really really messy so use care if using it. The kicker is that you have to ensure that the glass doesn't move while the epoxy sets. I place several thick books under the glass.

How did you keep the pressure on the window. Was the top up and you just put books against the window? My window is still attached a a little on the bottom so I assume I will have to remove it completely to glue it all. How about duck tape to hold in place while it drys? How long to dry?
