Ceramic brake pad install questions
Just received my ceramic pads from Fred Beans. A couple questions:
Each box contains a couple cut out pieces that look to have paper to peel off and apply to the pad. There are two in each box. Do they stick onto the inner or outer pads?
The brake lube is just applied to the back of the pads to prevent squealing, correct?

The paper cut outs you are referring to go on the backside of the outer pads. They help eliminate squeaking.
The lube you are referring to is grease for the caliper pins. Do not put that on the back of your pads.

Thank you. I should have known about the lube. I'm getting old & senile, so best to ask the dumb question rather than make a dumb mistake! :crazy:
